This mushroom foraging chef t-shirt is built for line cooks who spend their one day off in the woods instead of the walk-in. The front reads "My chef knows everything, except my spot," the confession every forager in a kitchen jacket has made at least once.
This is for line cooks, 22 to 40, who work the pass all week and hunt hen-of-the-woods on their days off. It fits the cook buying it for themselves off a phone at 1am after a brutal Saturday service, and the sous chef or partner who has seen the trunk full of paper bags and knows exactly what it means.
The front print stacks three lines in cream on black: a smaller "MY CHEF KNOWS EVERYTHING" in a clean condensed font, a bold oversized "EXCEPT MY SPOT" as the main statement, and a small handwritten-style line underneath in warm gold, "he can ask twice." A single-color flat silhouette of a layered mushroom cluster sits near the text as the mark of the secret itself.
