Made-to-order products work differently from items pulled from a warehouse shelf. This guide explains what happens after you order from SelecticDesigns, which product details to check, and where to find the policy that applies.
What made to order means
Each product is produced after an order is placed. The item page identifies the materials, available variants, print method, care details, and other specifications that matter for that product. Because the catalog can use different production partners, the applicable production and delivery details are product-specific.
Before you choose a variant
Check the item description and variant selector carefully. For apparel, compare the listed measurements with a garment you already own and review our Size & Care guide. For drinkware, accessories, and home goods, confirm the stated capacity, dimensions, materials, and care instructions.
What happens after checkout
The order is sent to the production partner assigned to that item. After production, the carrier handles delivery. Available tracking is added after the carrier receives and scans the parcel. Timing can vary by product, destination, carrier conditions, and order volume, so use the estimate shown during checkout and review Shipping & Delivery for the current process.
If something is wrong
Inspect the item soon after delivery. If it arrives damaged, defective, or materially different from the order, contact us with the order number and clear photos so the issue can be reviewed. Made-to-order purchasing and change-of-mind returns are explained on Returns & Refunds.
